ACCESS

From Edinburgh, follow the M90 to Perth and then the A90 to Aberdeen via Dundee. Approximately five miles beyond Brechin and after passing the entrance to Stracathro Hospital turn right towards Montrose via Hillside. On reaching the main Montrose to Laurencekirk road (A937) at the Hillside junction, turn right then immediately left at the Hillside Hotel onto the minor public road (Kinnaber Road) which passes by the Glenesk Maltings and meets the A92. To reach the Kinnaber Fishing Lodge, continue to the junction onto the A92, turn left and head north over and just beyond the Lower North Water Bridge taking a right turn onto a minor public road signposted the St Cyrus Nature Reserve. On dropping down to river level pass under the railway viaduct and continue for about 100 meters to the Lodge entrance on the right. If coming from the north on the A92 from Aberdeen take the minor public road on the left just before the Lower North Water Bridge and continue as above.
